Abstract The ppe r nce nd distribution of sensill on the ntenn of Lasioderma serricorne ( F bricius) were
observed with sc nning electron microscope ( SEM) . The results showed th t the ntenn of L. serricorne dults
consisted of sc pe, pedicel nd 9 sub-segment fl gellum. Nine kinds of sensillum were found in the ntenn ,
including sensillum trichodeum, sensillum ch eticum, sensillum b siconicum ( Ñ , Ò , Ó , nd Ô ) , sensillum
scolop le, BÊhm bristle, nd sensillum orbicul te. Sensillum b siconicum Ô, sensillum scolop le, sensill BÊhm
bristle nd sensillum orbicul te were first discovered in L . serricorne. In ddition, the structure-function rel tionship
of the sensillum w s discussed.
