Summary English Teaching in Reading Skills Abstract English reading skills is important and necessary for learning English, , reading ability is one about language comprehension. In today’s English language learning and using English reading has an important position which is reflected in the reading skills development and training so that students have a truly comprehensive reading skills and ability which include the level of understanding and reading speed. As follows are my views about improving the English reading ability： First, based on books, to carry out the overall teaching; Second, through inspection, prediction, word-guessing methods and techniques; Third, through extensive reading, timing reading to enhance students reading speed and ability.
