Instead they hold a traditional view that they still function as an authority. If those teachers with traditional ideas can change their views and their roles in teaching, instead of learning passively, students will learn English actively.This paper focus on the effective teachers in English teaching by analyzing what effective teachers are in language teaching, various roles and characteristics of effective teachers, including the principles required for effective teachers.
