摘 要 随着信息技术的飞速发展，计算机网络己经在社会各个领域得到了广泛应 用，成为人们生活、工作和学习中不可缺少的重要组成部分。在教育领域，计 算机网络的大量使用给新世纪的教育事业带来了蓬勃生机，新的教育理念与计 算机网络技术的整合，衍生出许多新的教学模式，如网络自主学习模式、网络 协作学习模式、网络探究学习模式等。其中，网络教学模式特别引起了人们的 关注，并成为网络教学的主要模式。网络教学是指教师和学习者利用计算机网 络提供的学习支持服务系统，自主地选择认知工具、确定学习目标和学习内容， 在教师的监控和指导下，通过可选择的交互方式主动探究的学习过程，实现有 意义知识建构的学习方式。 论文所关注的问题是：网络教学效果及其影响因素。 论文采用实证研究法对网络教学模式进行研究。首先采用准实验研究法进 行教学实验;实验结束后，采用测验法对研究对象进行测试，探究网络教学效果 如何?其优势和劣势有哪些? 通过研究，论文得出以下结论：(1)网络教学能够 提高学生自主学习英语听说能力；(2)网络自主学习能够提高学生英语听说水 平；(3)学生自主学习能力的增强是其学习水平提高的主要原因。 以上结论将为今后网络自主学习的深入研究和网络教学的顺利开展起到指 导和借鉴作用。 关键词：网络环境；英语应用能力；信息技术 3 Abstract With the rapid development of information technology， computer network is widely used in every aspect in society. It has become an important part in people’s life， work and study. In education the wide spread of computer technology has brought new life to education in the new century. The combination of the new concepts in education with the computer network develops many new teaching models， such as network self-regulated learning model、network collaborative learning in network environment， inquire learning in network environment， etc. Among these， network teaching and learning model attracted the greatest attention and become the main teaching model in network environment. The network teaching and learning model means that the learners use the aiding service system for learning provided by networks to choose cognitive tools， decide learning aims and contents and realize the construction of knowledge through alternative， interactive and active learning process ， which is accomplished under the guidance and monitoring of the tutors. The thesis focuses on the issue： effect of network teaching and learning. The thesis explore
