Major incidents have happened in recent years, it is not difficult to find Internet rumors, almost all have the participation of Internet rumors and to make matters further, social unrest, not only harm the public safety, but also seriously affected the government credibility, greatly harmed the government image. Present how to regulate the behavior of network transmission, to strengthen the prevention and management of Internet rumors, solve the problem of Internet rumors, from the source has become an urgent problem in front of the government. This paper at the macro Internet rumors transmission characteristics, transmission mode, on the basis of summed up the network rumor causes and coping strategies, in order to promote the prevention and control work of Internet rumors.
