The characters of four approaches of soft fault dictionary met hods based on t he principle of branch screening , t he locus of transfer function about component p arameters , t he law of invariance of t he node - voltage sensitivity sequence and t he lin ear relativity among node - voltage increment s are discussed resp ectively ; based on t he neural network , combined wit h t he fuzzy t heory and t he wavelet transform , t he research actuality of t he two approaches of modern analog soft fault diagnosis are also introduced . Furt hermore , we point out t he research direction of t he analog soft fault diagnosis according to t hree different asp ect s : unified soft fault diagnosis met hod , t he strategy of diagnosing large scale analog circuit s and t he require ment of diagnosing digital and analog mixed circuit s , and finally discuss t he
