The story that I had resigned was published. 第1句中的that 可以用which替代；第2句则不可以。 1) 第1句中的that指代the story而且是wrote的逻辑宾语。第1句还可以改写成两句：“I wrote the story.”“The story?was published.” 2) 第2句中I had resigned.是the story的内容。That 也不是had resigned的逻辑宾语。 也就是不能说：I had resigned the story.。这句话也可以改写成两句：“The story was published.”“I had resigned.” 二、定语从句和同位语从句的区别 同位语从句通常在一个抽象名词后。这个抽象名词经常是动词或形容词的派生词。 定语从句用来确定和说明讲话者所专指的人或物。 Exercise Identify the relative clause or appositive
