第八讲 形容词和副词 P96-104 1. 形容词的位置 形容词作定语修饰名词时，要放在名词的前面。但是如果形容词修饰以-thing为词尾的不定代词时，要放在这些词语之后。 The Chinese People are living a happy life. I have something important to do. 2. 形容词比较级的变化规则。 tall-taller nice-nicer big-bigger easy-easier clever-cleverer narrow-narrower important-more important 特殊的比较级和最高级 3. 形容词比较等级的用法 形容词比较等级通常分为原级、比较级和最高级三种基本形式，具体而言，她们分别以下列形式出现在句中。 (1) as + 原级 + as 含义：...和…相同 (2) 比较级 + than 含义：…比…较为 (3) the + 最高级 + of / in 含义：在…中最为… 形容词和副词的原级 1）as + 形容词或副词的原级 + as… 表示“和…一样…” He is as tall as Peter. 否定句形式： not + as + 形容词或副词的原级 + as… 表示“不及…” It is not so cold today as it was yesterday. 注意：表示倍数的句型 … times as + 形容词或副词的原级 + as … 表示“是…的几倍” This garden is ten times as large as that one. 注意：在英语中，两倍用twice，三倍用third而不用three times，除此之外则用four times, five times… ① half as + 形容词原级 + as… (表示“…的一半…”) My shoes are not half as good as yours. ② as … as possible (表示“尽可能…”) He is as fast as possible. ③为了避免重复，我们常用that, those和one一类的代词代替as后重复前面出现的名词。 This pen is as cheap as that one. 4. 比较级的用法 1) 形容词或副词的比较级 + than 表示“比…更…” Beijing is more beautiful than Wuhan. 2) 注意：在形容词比较级前海可以用much/even/still/a bit/a little/any等词来修饰，表示“…的多”，“更…”，“…一些” He is much taller than me. This problem is even more difficult than that one. Are you any better today? Japan is a little larger than Germany. 3) 表示倍数：…times+形容词比较级+than… Our room is four times larger than theirs. 4) 比较级形式可表最高级的概念,常用的结构为： ①than any other+单数名词 ②than (any of) the other+复数名词 ③than anybody/anything else John is stronger than any other boy in his class. John is stronger than any of the other boys in his class. John is stronger than anybody else in his class. 5) 比较级+and+比较级,译为“越来越…” Winter is coming. It is getting colder and colder. China is more and more beautiful. 6) “the + 比较级…，the + 比较级…” 译为“越…就越…” The stronger country is, the richer the people are. The more you study, the more you know. 7) less…than… It is less cold in Nanjing tha
