Ltd. , Jiangyin 214444, China) Abstract: In the tarting pha e of any et, after an overhaul ( or repair) , foreign olid , entrained by the circulating water and team, are being cattered throughout the y tem and get di olved under certain temperature, pre ure and pH value condition . Detention of tho e foreign matter help to reduce the amount of di olved metal ion . A high concentration of Fe ion may cau e ludge occa ioned corro ion, and iron a well a ilicon containing ion may al o cau e depo it to ettle down in the low and medium pre ure piping ection of boiler and team turbine . After comparing the performance of different brand of filter it wa found that the large flow filter of the U. S. Pall Co. are capable of effectively retaining old granule . An analy i of the economical merit attainable i being pre ented.
