Pre-reading Talk about the questions: Can all of us go to the Antarctic? Who is the first person to go to the South Pole?[ Then pre-view the Vocabulary Step3. Reading Task1. Read the reading strategies and explain it to the students Task2. Read the text quickly and decide whether the statements are true or false Task3. Read and find the following expressions Step4. Vocabulary: Word Building Task1. Find these words in the text and decide what kind of words they are Task2. Complete the sentences. Make nouns or adjectives from the words in brackets. Step5.
