President, 　　首先，我谨代表中国代表团祝贺工发十四大的召开，并对您和主席团其他成员的当选表示祝贺。在此，我也感谢伊朗大使Ali Asghar Soltanieh先生在担任上届大会主席期间所做出的杰出贡献。 I shall start by extending my congratulations, on behalf of the Chinese delegation, to the 14th General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. I would also like to congratulate you and other members of the bureau on your election. I shall take this opportunity to thank Ambassador Ali Asghar Soltanieh of Iran for his great contribution as the President of the previous Conference. 　　当前，世界经济形势下行压力加大，不稳定性和不确定性上升，主要经济体增速下滑，一些国家主权债务问题突出，国际金融市场和大宗商品价格持续动荡，新兴市场国家通胀压力加大，各种形式的保护主义有所抬头。世界经济复苏的长期性、艰巨性和复杂性，给世界各国工业的可持续发展带来了严峻挑战。本届大会重点讨论工业可持续发展，正当其时，意义重大。围绕这一问题的讨论，有利于我们深刻认识当前世界经济形势下工业发展的新变化和新特点，准确把握未来一段时间绿色工业发展方向，探讨如何合理解决经济社会高速发展与资源和环境等之间的矛盾，推动全球绿色经济和绿色工业实现持续稳定的发展。 Today’s world economy is troubled with bigger downward pressure, rising instability and uncertainty, serious slowdown of major economies, prominent sovereign debt issues of certain countries, volatility of international financial markets and commodities prices, mounting inflationary pressure in emerging market economies, and rising protectionism of all forms. Recovery of the world economy, which will be a long, difficult and complicated process, imposes serious challenges to the sustainable industrial development of all countries. It is against this backdrop that this Conference highlights the industrial sustainable development. Discussions on this will help us acquire a better understanding of the new changes and features of industrial development in the current context of world economy, feel the pulse of the trend of green industrial development, find rational solutions to the resource and environment challenges generated by fast economic and social development, and contribute to the sustain
