Three proce ing technolog ie are conducted to inve tigate the effect on tab ility of u rround ing ro ck by excavation ne ighborhood tunnel: full ection excavation, tep excavation and ingle idew all excavation. The re ult how that: the horizontal di placem en t and tre of urround ing rock and m iddle wall are greatly influenced by fu ll ection excavation of the tunne,l how ever, the other two excavation m ethod are of comparatively maller effect. In order to en ure the quality of con truction, choo ing a log ical excavation method ba ed on practice, building the lining in tmi e and trengthen ing the in pection during the con truction are adv i ab le.
