表 6 : 香港高級程度會考歷年報考情況及成績統計 Table 6 : HKALE Entries and results statistics over the years 香港考試及評核局於一九八零年開始舉辦香港高級程度會考(高考) 。早年的統計一般以學校考生及全體考生(包括學校 考生及自修生)列出。由一九九六年開始，所有學校考生成績的統計只包括提供正規高級程度會考課程的日校，並由二 零零一年開始提供日校首次報考考生的分析。 The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority started to conduct the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) in 1980. In the earlier years, the examination statistics were generally published in terms of school candidates and all candidates (including both school and private candidates). With effect from 1996, all analyses of results of school candidates include only candidates from day schools offering a normal HKALE curriculum (day school candidates).
