Abstract
Objective:Toinvestigatecognitiveftmctioninpatientswithsleepapneasyndyome
andexplorehowsleepapneasyndromeaffectscognitivefunction
Methods:Twogroups,SASpatientgroup(n=32)andcontrolgroup(n=29),were
administeredpolysomnogaph(PSG),electroencephalography(EEG),brainelectrical
activitymapping(BEAM),auditoryevokedevent-relatedpotential(ERP)brainstem
auditory evoked potentials (BAEP).Allthe peoplewere also inspected
neuropsychologicalexamination,containSimpleWechslerAdultIntelligenceScale
(WAIS)andSimpleWechslerAdultMemoryScale(WAMS).Thenwecanusethe
datetohavethecomparativeandcorrelativestudy.Theresultswereanalyzedwitht
testandspearmansrankcorrelation
Results:Therehavesi加ficantlyperformancechangebetweenthepatientsandthe
controlsinmanyneuropsychological.Thememoryscoreon8subtestas1一100,100
~l,picturememory ,visualreknown，visualregeneration，comprehensive
memory,associatedmemory，memorydigitalandtheMemoryquotient(MQ)ofSAS
patientsweresignificantlowerthanthatofcontrolgroup(P0.05).Theintelligence
scoreonpicturefill,picturearrange,VIQ,PIQ,FIQwerealsosignificantlowerthan
thatofcontrolgroup(P0.05).TheSASpatientsdifferentiatesingificantlyrfom
controlsubjectsonseveralparameters.longerlatencies(Fz,Cz,Pz)ofN2,P3
waves.butnosi娜ficantdifferenceswereseeninP3amplitudebetweenthetwo
groups.ThepowerinalphaofBEAMwasdecreaseinSASpatients,butthepowerin
detaandthetawereincrease.TherehaveprolongerpotentialslatencyofIII,VI,V
wavesinSASpatientsofBAEPtocomparewiththecontrols.Theinterpeaklatency
