目的论论文：Interpretation of Vague Expression in Political Context Under the Guidance of Skopostheorie 【中文摘要】本文从论的视角分析口译员在政治语境下如何根据交际的意图决定口译策略。以往的翻译实践中,译文和原文在意义方面是否对等一直是评判翻译是否成功的标准,并由此引发了一系列针对翻译标准的激烈争辩,如“信﹑达﹑雅,”“神似﹑化境”等等,这些理论大大丰富了人们对翻译标准问题的认识。然而在口译,尤其是政治语境口译中,发言人总是会出于各种原因、不可避免地应用模糊语,因此就不能再以所谓的意义对等作为口译标准,而应该以交际为依据。作者试图以论为理论框架来分析在具体的口译实践中如何根据外交语境下的交际来选择口译策略。在论的指导下,本文试图探索针对模糊表达的口译策略选择,从而证明论指导政治语境下模糊表达的有效性。过去相关研究主要集中于论指导下的商标翻译,或顺应论﹑接受理论观照下的模糊语口译,很少用论指导模糊语口译。作者希望本文在某种程度上能为模糊语口译的研究和实践提供一定的借鉴。 【英文摘要】This thesis tries to explore the interpreting strategies of vague expressions in political context under the guidance of Skopostheorie. For a long time, whether the TT is equivalent in meaning to ST is regarded as the criteria of揼ood攖ranslation. As a result, a wide range of heated debates on translation criteria have been triggered, for example,揻aithfulness, expressiveness, elegance,攁nd搒piritual resemblance and sublimation攁nd so on. Those criterions, to some degree, have enriched the people抯 understanding of translation.However, in real practice, an interpreter will find it impossible to be always faithful to the speaker in a political context in which there appear so many vague expressions for various reasons. So the so-called equivalence can no longer be valid for there may be many understandings of the vague expressions. Thus the criteria of a good interpretation should be whether the interpreted version has achieved the purpose that the interpreted version is intended to achieve. In this sense, the author, in this thesis, attempts to discuss how to select interpretation strategies according to the purpose of the communication under the guidance of Skopostheorie.The thesis attempts to explore the appropriate interpreting strategies to make the Skopos of the communication achieved in order to prove that the Skopostheorie is proper and effective in guiding the interpreters to choose appropriate strategies to interpret vague expressions in diplomatic context.
