DQP 1004QP 1004Issue Number 43Effective Date:ASC Procedure Page 1 of 55Approved By:  ASC Procedure PURPOSE To provide a process for the inspection and testing of premixed and frozen products. SCOPE This procedure applies to all premixed and frozen products, except polyurethane. Customer-furnished premixed and frozen products are controlled in accordance with QP 700 Control of Customer Property. RESPONSIBILITIES RT issue Mix Freeze QC Cards that define the manufacture and inspection/testing of PRC-DeSoto Standard premixed and frozen products. RT also issue Test Methods and maintain the master label database. Operations generate work orders that control the production processes in accordance with all requirements of PRC-DeSoto International and the customer. Production personnel perform processes in accordance with the work order and documented procedures, including workmanship standards, and monitor and control process parameters and key characteristics, when required. Production supplies properly labeled/identified samples of frozen materials and required button samples to Quality Control for testing. Quality Control generates and controls Mix Freeze Laboratory Test Sheets and other inspection/test records. All inspection/test records show whether the product passed or failed according to defined acceptance criteria and the inspector/tester responsible for releasing the product to the next operation.
