This document applies to all instruments and equipment for the Project, whether in the direct ownership of Century 3, Sub-Contractor, Independent Testing Agency or other, whereby such instruments and equipment are required to record data and results as identified within the Project Inspection Test Plan. Responsibilities The QA/QC Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance and implementation of this procedure. The Construction Manager is responsible for ensuring that the controls defined within this procedure are effectively implemented and maintained. References N/A Actions Any item of inspection, measuring or test equipment either owned by Century 3, sub-contractor or by an authorized testing laboratory or purchased for use on this project shall be accompanied by a calibration certificate that confirms the condition of the equipment and its capability to perform to a recognised National or International Standard. All personnel using measuring and test equipment other than an authorized testing laboratory shall be responsible to ensure that it is maintained in good condition and in the event of visible deterioration between routine calibration checks shall advise their manager. Each piece of equipment used on this project for inspection, measurement and test shall be identified with a unique serial number and recorded in the Measuring Equipment Register maintained by the QA/QC Manager. Calibration of equipment shall be carried out at pre-determined intervals in accordance with the requirements of the Inspection, Measuring Test Equipment and/or the national and/or international standard
