Through the course, students should learn how to calculate the parameters of the key elements, select the proper devices, practice the design method and design procedure of the photo-electronic system. The main contents of the course include analyzing several typical photoelectric systems as examples, introducing the frequently-used architectural or electronic design method and software, showing the students the night vision system and devices, color/mono CCD and other typical imaging devices. After introduction and practicing mounting the typical system, students should design the specific system and practice some basic parts. Students should work in groups and have clear division for a specific photoelectric imaging system. Then, from the system design, they need to implement part of the system to verify their design method and submit the design report.
