Syting89 Humor * How do you define humor? Humor is easy to recognize , but difficult to define . Humor refers to something that is funny/amusing/comical(古怪而可笑的). * How do you define humor? Humor is found in jokes , anecdotes(?[?n?kd??ts]轶事,掌故,〔pl.〕秘史), epigrams ([ep?ɡr?m]警句,讽刺短诗), and in amusing situations . Humor is a sign of intelligence. It refers to the ability to see , appreciate , or express what is amusing or comical . * Definition of humor  from dictionary --- the ability to laugh and find things funny 对滑稽事物的感受能力 --- the quality of being funny and making people laugh 幽默；滑稽 Importance of humor Looking around, you’ll find that people prefer to stay with humorous persons, and quite a lot of people are cultivating培养their senses of humor. Why does sense of humor become so important? * Humor is a necessity Image not laughing once that entire day. Nor any day. How long would it be before you went bonkers ?[b??k?z]疯狂的, lacking something to amuse you? How would you get through those days? The promise of something funny is enough to off set an entire day of bad experience. * Humor changes your mood If you are angry withsomeone (or vice versa ?[?va?sv??rs?]反过来也是一样地), often a little bit of humor can help to lighten the mood and help resolve the differences. If there is something sad, a little bit of humor can help you get out of that. Humor helps us to overcome the difficulties of life. Humor allows us to take a step back退一步and see the things that are important in life.
