Here’s the general arrangement of components on a 25-kV Scada-Mate CX Switch in the Upright Mounting Configuration. This switch includes optional SC Current/Voltage Sensors on the pole-saddle side. The switch is factory-assembled on a one-piece base and includes an integral stored-energy operating mechanism. Each interrupter is operated by a rotating insulator mounted at the front terminal pad end. In addition to electrically operating the interrupters, the operating mechanism provides non-electrical mechanical opening and closing of the interrupters by means of a manual-operation pull-ring.
