Boarding design 1.The analysis of the students ●Many of them come from the countryside and have the basic ability of listening and speaking. ●They are reluctant to speak English. ●Most of them learn little about the universe 2.Teaching material Analysis ◆The position and function of the teaching material This is the fourth period of this unit. It attaches importance to listening and speaking . And to develop the Ss’listening and speaking abilities. ◆Teaching goals Knowledge goal: Get students to learn some new words and expressions Ability goals: To develop the Ss’imaginary ability and the ability of grasping key information while listening the passage Emotion goals: To help students know more about the universe and to develop Ss’sense of cooperation ◆Teaching difficult and important points Get the students to listen to and understand the listening material about gravity. And with some useful expressions help them imagine themselves in space 3.
