The design mainly covers the software and hardware simulation of automatic washing machine. The Hardware system with the control center of The programmable logic controller of the Mitsubishi FX2N series consists of Siemens MM440 inverter, round table module, the digital control module, the computer, RS-232 serial interface, etc. The PLC part of the procedures for the use of ladder diagram programming, man-machine interface part using Kingview software interface design, and realize the serial communication through the communication protocol. The system has realized the feature of inserting the coin, displaying the change, returning the money when you are shopping without enough money, washing time, speed selection, end alarm function, etc. As the level of the automation is improving, the application of automatic washing machine in daily life becomes more popular. Therefore, the design and research of this system has a very important practical meaning.
