Prayer and Bible reading began most school days, bebop and rock and roll spun out silly songs like “Rock Around the Clock”, Elvis shocked parents by wiggling his hips in public while playing his guitar and singing “Ya Ain’t Nothing But A Hound Dog”, sitcoms like Happy Days and I Love Lucy were actually funny, prayer was given before meals on TV sitcoms like Father Knows Best and Leave It To Beaver, and Jeanne was not allowed to show her bellybutton. There was still respect for authority, and children were polite to parents. Going to church was in fashion. But, there was a whole lot of ignorance of what was being done under the table! For me, in the 50s, “ignorance was bliss”. While Ike played golf in Palm Springs, and that was sometimes the big news headline, the evil powers of Lucifer were slowly mind programming the American people, and conditioning them for what would begin in the 1960s that would lead to the hellish world we live in now. With the Supreme Court decisions and Watt’s riots of the 1960s, all hell began to surface and break loose.
