Plans call for construction in two phases. Phase 1 of the hangar was completed in September 2009. It houses two widebody bays, each capable of accommodating an aircraft the size of a 747-8. Phase 1 also includes support buildings, including back shops, warehouse, GSE, security, water waste treatment, and offices as well as a comprehensive inventory of tooling, test equipment, and parts to support heavy checks on 737NG and 767-300 aircraft.
