Consolidated Report about the visit of SEA organization About the Organization: Society for Education and Action is an NGO Working for the upliftment of Fishermen community.  They have Child Rights Club, Children’s Parliament, Children’s Library and150 Self Help Groups.  The NGO is also involved in Mangrove Plantation to reduce the Disaster such as soil erosion, flood, tsunami etc.. They do have Water Treatment Plant /Water desalination. SEA was selected as District Resource Centre for all Tsunami Relief and Rehabilitation Activities in Kancheepuram District.  For the betterment of the society the trust periodically publish articles and posters related to Disaster Management, Early marriage, Importance of Education, Value Based Education, Good Habits and Mannerism, Creation of Child Friendly School Atmosphere etc. Educational Emotional Intelligent Quotient To raise the educational standard of children and to induce all round development in children SEA has Capacity Building programme, Child Rights Club, Children Parliment, Child Protection Committee and Information Center. These clubs and parliments were supported by Parents Teachers Association, Village Education Committee, Self Help Groups and by the Panchayat Committee.  To engage the children during summer vacation they conduct summer camp. Health Awareness: Periodical Medical camp for children being conducted by the NGO with the assistance of Health department and SEA also organize Health Mela in all the schools adopted by them. Healthy food habits, importance of Nutritional food, food rich in vitamins, minerals, Protein, Iron and calcium are imparted to the children in the name of Nutritional Demonstration. Metric Mela: To create interest for the school children in Mathematics, Society for Education And Action conduct Metric Mela every year.
