They took me into their confidence.(他们信任我) 上述搭配中的宾语可按语义意图加以改变。但以下词组动词结构中的名词不能随意改变。例如：; c) 动词+副词小品词+介词： I don’t wish to break in on(打断) your thoughts. The family came up against(碰到) fresh problems. You’re not telling me the whole story. You’re holding out on(对…保密) me. ;3、介词与名词的搭配 某些名词之后要求用某些介词 There seems to be a solution to this problem. Have you any faith in herb medicine? They’ll probably send the letter on to her.; (2)、三词介词;例如： Harry achieved his aim by force of sheer determination(完全凭借决心). In consequence of the shipwreck(由于船舶失事) many families were in mourning. In point of composition(就文章而言), her letter does not seem defective. In defiance of the order to finish the work(违抗结束工作的命令),Joe went away leaving half of it undone. ;(3) 四词介词;例如： The shipwrecked sailors were at the mercy of the wind and waves(任凭风浪摆布). The boy was left in the care of his uncle(由他的叔父照顾). In the event of an accident(如果出了事故), the police must be called at once. The ship could scarcely hold her course in the teeth of the wind(顶风).
