They were written by Charlotte Bronte and Emily Bronte, the famous women writers of 19th century in Britain. The year of 1847 is an unusual year for the Bronte Sisters.They published their important works during the year. Lucky for Charlotte, since its publication in October, Jane Eyre has been widely read and studied as one of the famous classics in the nineteenth century. Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre was published in 1847 under the pseudonym Currer Bell, which brought almost instant fame to its obscure author. Charlotte Bronte portrays Jane, a small, weak and obscure girl, as a pioneer warrior for the emancipation of women, boldly defending the interest of the inferior female against the prevailing patriarchal rules and eulogizing Jane's revolutionary rebellious spirit. Charlotte Bronte infuses her own life experience
