METHODS: Male SD rats received an infusion of 50 μ L autologous blood into the right basal ganglia. The rats were randomly divided into sham operated group , model group, Huatuozaizao bolus group and Naoxueling granule group. The expressions of TNFα , IL1β , iNOS were observed by immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization. RESULTS: The expressions of TNFα , IL1β , iNOS all increased on 7 d after modeling. Naoxueling granule markedly decreased the expressions of TNFα , IL1β , iNOS at the protein and mRNA levels. Compared with the model group, Huatuozaizao bolus group had no significant difference in the expressions of TNFα , IL1β and iNOS. CONCLUSION: The mechanism of Naoxueling granule against intracerebral hemorrhage may be related to the effect of inhibiting inflammatory cascade reaction.
