Methods A total of 80 cases of patients with DN, including early DN group of 36 cases, clinical DN group of 24 patients with normal renal function, clinical DN group of 20 cases of renal failure, three groups of patients also were randomly divided into control group and treatment group. In addition to conventional treatment, each treatment group were added to make available 100 capsules (fermented Cordyceps powder) 2 g orally, 3 times / d, a total of 12 weeks. Row during treatment blood glucose, blood pressure, BUN, serum creatinine, urine protein measured. The results compared with the same period in the control group, the treatment groups in patients with urinary protein excretion decreased significantly (P amp;lt;0.05), clinical DN renal failure group was significantly decreased serum creatinine (P amp;lt;0.05). The total effective rate in treatment group were significantly higher than in the control group (P amp;lt;0.05), in which the early DN group and the clinical DN group with normal renal function markedly effective rate and total effective rate was higher than the clinical DN renal failure group (P amp;lt; 0.05). Conclusion Bailing capsule to reduce proteinuria and improve renal function, and early clinical diabetic nephropathy and diabetic nephropathy with normal renal function better results for patients with renal failure also have a certain effect.
