[Method] reviewed our hospital since July 2003 ~ December 2005 implementation of the 11 cases of thoracoscope-assisted anterior release, anterior or posterior orthopedic treatment of idiopathic scoliosis cases. Age 12 to 16 years, mean 14.6 years. Lenke Ⅰ type in 9 cases, preoperative coronal Cobb  s angle 54 ° ~ 68 °, an average of 59.7 °; Lenke Ⅲ type 2 cases, preoperative coronal Cobb  s angle were 58 ° and 71 °, an average of 64.5 °. Bending X-ray film scoliosis correction rate was 21.8% ~ 32.4%, an average of 26.4%.
