Methods medicinal herbs were determined by spectrophotometry in polysaccharide and saponin content. Results Tibet and Lu Codonopsis Codonopsis pilosula polysaccharide were 24.32%, 18.25%; saponin contents were 3.02%, 2.48%, indicating that possession of Dangshen polysaccharide and saponin content were significantly higher than Lu Codonopsis -- polysaccharide content was 1.33 times Dangshen Lu, Lu Codonopsis saponin content of 1.22 times. Conclusion Tibet Dangshen polysaccharide and saponin-rich and has a high utilization value, this is Tibet Codonopsis development and utilization of quality evaluation and provides a more reliable experimental data. The results showed that the contents of polysaccharide and saponins in Codonpsis thalictrifolia Wall. Were 1.33 and 1.22 times higher than those in Codonopsis pilosula (Franch.) Nnannf. respectively.ConclusionThe polysaccharide and saponins in those in Codonpsis thalictrifolia Wall. were measured for the first time, and both are higher than those in Codonopsis pilosula (Franch.)
