Surprisingly, the N-terminus of APC containing the oligomerization domain and the armadillo repeats completely rescues the branching and cytoskeletal abnormalities. Our data indicate that APC is required for appropriate axonmorphologicaldevelopmentandthattheN-terminusofAPCisimportantforregulationoftheneuronalcytoskeleton.
