MethodologyandPrincipalFindings:Inthisstudy,wefoundarelationshipbetweenRab11andtheactincytoskeletonin CWP1transport.ConfocalmicroscopyshowedRab11wasdistributedthroughouttheentiretrophozoite,whileincystsit was translocated to the periphery of the cell, where it colocalized with ESVs and microfilaments. Encystation was also accompaniedbychangesinrab11mRNAexpression.Toevaluatetheroleofmicrofilamentsinencystation,thecellswere treated with latrunculin A. Scanning electron microscopy showed this treatment resulted in morphological damages to encystedparasites.Theintensityoffluorescence-labeledRab11andCWP1inESVsandcystwallswas
