A【b stract 】 O bjective:To explore the effect of microRNA -2 9 6 - 5 p (m iR -2 9 6 - 5 p ) on the biological behavior of pancreatic cancer cells. M ethods：The pancreatic cancer cell lines were transiently transfected with miR -2 9 6 - 5 p Agomir and miR -2 9 6 - 5 p Antagomir. Cell proliferation was evaluated using the Cell Counting Kit - 8 ( CCK - 8) assay and apoptosis was assessed by flow cytometry. Adhesion was evaluated by cell adhesion experiments. Invasio- nand migration were measured by Transwell chamber assays. R esults：The overexpression of miR -2 9 6 - 5 p inhibited proliferation abilities as shown in the cells transfected with the miR -2 9 6 - 5 p Agomir,in additional, the miR -2 9 6 - 5p accelerated apoptosis and enhanced adhension. The overexpression of miR -2 9 6 - 5 p inhibited invasion and migra­ tion abilities,as shown in the cells transfected with the miR -2 9 6 - 5 p Agomir. On the contrary, when transfecting miR -2 9 6 - 5 p Antagomir, the results were completely opposite. C onclusion：The experiment confirmed miR -2 9 6 -
