1. What is an enquiry?
Enquiry is made when one party of a transaction wants to get a supply of products, service or information from the other party.
2. Enquiries may fall into two categories: general enquiries and specific enquiries.
General Inquiry: asking for common data, such as catalogue, price list, sample and pictures, etc..
Specific Inquiry: specifically inquiry about name of commodity, specifications, quantity, unit price, date of shipment, payment terms and packing, etc..
