Methods Those primary caregivers for 125 disabled persons receiving combined auxiliary equip­ ment in Jingan District of Shanghai from 2013 to 2015 were enrolled in the study. The primary caregiversr burden was evalua­ ted by Zarit Burden 3 months, 6 months and 12 months after combination, respectively. Results The role burden’s scores o the primary caregivers decreased significantly 12 months after combination of equipment. The scores of individual and total burden were significantly decreased 6 months and 12 months after combination. Conclusion The combination mode of auxil­ iary equipment under community intervention can reduce the burden of primary caregivers of the disabled persons e ectively.
