It can monitor real-time, sense, collect and process information on a variety of objects monitored. The grid is a distributed computing technology. It integrates various resources that geographically distributed widely into a logical super computer,which can provide integrated information applieation services for users.Combine WSN and grid can better play both functions. This paper first sketches out the related knowledge of WSN and grid. Through the qualitative analysis, differences and similarities were found out,and the key problems that need to be solved in combination were summarized. Then after researching and exploring, a framework was put forward and an application platform that combined WSN into grid was constructed. This platform puts to use the layered structure,which includes a WSN layer, data access layer, management layer, the grid application layer. With this structure, the task’s scheduling and distribution are clear, and it can realize the preliminary integration effectively between WSN and grid, achieving more effective utilization of resources.
