Then, the SMA damper passive control of a frame structure is smi u lated by ANSYS according to its relative parameter selection. Finally, through comparing the top floor displacement of the frame structurew ithout andw ith SMA damper, it is show n that the SMA damper can enhance the seism ic perform- ance of the frame structure, and them ethod for next research w ork is put forw ard.
