To analyse the passage , let ss grasp the important points , the difficult points and the meaning of the passage ,know some reading skills .
As Lala did , we should build a harmonious society, love our motherland, love our family, love our friends, enjoy life and cherish life.
Learning tasks
Task one: Learning procedures
Ⅰ Lead-in: show some pictures about The Feast: 18,000 BC to ss , introduce some brief information about Peking Man to them. Ask questions :1 Where did Peking Man live?(caves )
2. What lifestyle did Peking Man live?(tough and primitive)3 What kind of tools did Peking Man use?(stone tools)
With these questions ,lead in the following passage.
Ⅱ Skimming (Tips on skimming) : Run your eyes over the text quickly. Don’t read every word or sentence. Pay attention to topic sentences.
1. Read the passage fast to find when(18,000BC), where(the caves), who(Lala and Dahu) and what(the preparation work for a feast)
2 . Read the text quickly to find the main idea of it.
