Because of the special industrial structure in Saline Lake area, there has been no construction of large-scale coking plant in this area. In this paper, based on the design of the 4 * 60 hole 5.5m tamping coke oven foundation for the 2 million 400 thousand t/a coking project of the Saline Lake magnesium group project of Qinghai group, the design of the foundation treatment of the coke oven foundation in the saline soil area is discussed. 1 natural conditions The engineering site is located in Saline Lake, Qinghai, Golmud. It is located in the south central part of the Qaidam Basin. The site geomorphic units belong to the flood plain and lacustrine plain of Kunlun, and the micro geomorphic unit is the end of lacustrine sedimentary facies. The stratum is mainly composed of Quaternary, flood and lacustrine (Q4PL+L) silty clay and silty soil, in which silty soil is the main stratum and silty clay is thin layer and lenticular body. The annual variation range of groundwater is about 0 ~ 1.30M, and the annual water level is stable. The water depth is about 0.30 ~ 1.80m. According to the analysis result of soluble salt in soil, the saline soil in this site is named as chlorine saline soil. Site ground water and soil are highly corrosive to reinforced concrete, plain concrete, brick masonry, concrete structures, and steel bars in reinforced concrete, and are moderately corrosive to steel structures. 2 Foundation Treatment Coke oven foundation is a super large equipment foundation composed of 4 parts, such as roof, r
