The Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence is responsible to both the Secretary of Energy and the Director of National Intelligence for support in the areas of policy, research, analysis, and technical expertise in support of energy security and nuclear nonproliferation interests. The purpose of this position is to serve as an Intelligence Research Specialist in the Energy Security Division (ESD) within the Directorate of Foreign Intelligence. This position involves conducting research, identifying and summarizing relevant information, and assisting senior analysts with briefings and written analytic products. The incumbent is responsible for conducting this work on oil, gas, coal, and renewable energy sources for the Western Hemisphere or Asia region.
