Research of Offshore Wind Farm Reliability
Based on O＆M Aspects

Abstract : A method to modify the reliability parameters of off shore w ind farm is presented w ith
respect to the w eather condition and O＆M aspects at a particular spot． An example of a certain off -
shore w ind pow er plant in operation in China based on real data is used to demonstrate the value of
the proposed approach． In this example ，it is show n that w eather condition in that location affects
the performance of off shore w ind turbines ，as w ell as the practicing of operation and maintenance
strategies ，and the w ind turbine availability ultimately ．
