According to the trend of climate change in the future and combing the elevation factor, the authors simulated the life zone type of the probably emergence of Sichuan basin under 5 kinds of hot and w a ter condit ions by using ecology information system ( EIS ) technology and Holdridge s life zone mod el which w as revised . T he result indicated that along w ith the w hole world going up of air tempera ture in the future, the total distribution area of forest zone w ill increase and the distribut ion area of Alpine meadow/ Tundra zone w ill decrease, and the Subtropical Desert zone will appear in Sichuan basin, the whole life zone w ill be occur elapsing of the type and t he boundary of land followed the sout heast to north
