Aims to the knowledge: To understand conversations involving food and drink.
Aims to the ability: To improve the students’ listening ability, and enable them to talk about food.
Aims to the emotion: To understand some names of food and drink.
Teaching focus:
It includes teaching important and difficult points.
Teaching important points:
(1) The key structure棗have/has got.
(2) The usage of some and any.
(3) To talk about food.
Teaching difficult points: Countable nouns and uncountable nouns.
Teaching methods: Communication teaching.
Teaching aids: Multi-Media
Teaching procedures:
Step1. Revision.
Help the students to revise what they have learnt in the last lesson.
T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you going today?
S: Fine!
T: What date is it today/ what day is it today?
S: 厖
SStep2. Lead-in.
1. Hold some objects and ask, “What have I got?” “ Have I got 厖?e”
2. Then let some students to practice like this.
“Has he got 厖?
”
“Yes, he has/ No, he hasn’t.”
3. Ask the students to list the food and drink they have learnt.
T: Can you tell me some names of the food?
S: 厖
4. Show some pictures about the new words: orange, drink, fruit, vegetablne, beef, carrot, chicken, juice, melon, milk, onion, pork, potato, tomato.
Step3. Presentation.
Ask the students to read through the new words after the tape chorally, and then get some students to read them individually.
Ask the students to fill in the boxes “food” and “drink” with the right words.
T: OK, class. There are many words, please complete the boxes with the right words.
S: 厖
3. Ask and answer. pGet the students to make sentences with the given information.
Step4. Listening.
Ask the students to listen and check the food they’ve got. Play the recording once.
T: Well, class. Pay attention, listen to the tape and find out what food have they got, then check the corr
