Anhui Communications Consulting and Design Institute, Hefei230088, China) Abstract: Aqueduct crack is a common engineering problem during construction. The temperatureload is the major factor to generate crack, especially as thehigh performancepump concreteis widely used, the problem becomes more serious. The threedimensional finite element method is adopted to simu late the instable thermal field and stress field of concrete aqueduct during construction and thegenera tion mechanics of cracks in main beam, junior beam, floor plate and wall body areanalyzed. In view of the crack generation mechanics, the relevant countermeasures of external heat preservation and inter nal pipes cooling are put forward. The result indicates that the presented temperature control meas ures are effective in anticrack. Key words: temperature load; high performance concrete; thermal field; stress field [4] , [1] , , ,
