Department of Gastroenterology, the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University, Qingdao 266003, China Email: liuxishuang1@ Abstract Magnetically guided capsule endoscopy is a new technology in the stomach and small intestine, which is the first in China, and is only used in the clinical application in China in the past two years. It not only has the functions as a common capsule endoscopy in the whole small intestine, but also avoids the deficiency of other capsule endoscopy in observing stomach due to vitro uncontrollability. Under the intervention of the external magnetic field, we can use this application to complete comprehensive observation of gastric mucosa, the observation efficiency is close to the sum of traditional endoscopy and capsule endoscopy, and compared to traditional endoscopy it has the advantages of no trauma, no pain, disposable and more secure. This paper focus on the composition of the system, working principle, function, advantages and matters need attention while using.
