　　试析小议商务英语信函中的模糊语言 试析小议商务英语信函中的模糊语言 导读：小议商务英语信函中的模糊语言 摘 要：模糊性是自然语言的基本属性之一，人们从不同角度研究了模糊语言。商务信函要求准确的语言表达以避开对方的误解，这已成为业内人士的公识。实际上，模糊语言的准确使用并不会妨碍人际交流，相反地，只要熟练地把握，它会为人们的信息交流起到重要作用。本文旨在研究写信人故意使用模糊语言，并探索人们什么时候，为什么要故意使用模糊语言，以及研究它的积极和消极作用。从本文的研究可以得出结论，模糊语言在商务信函中的运用是写信人达到交际目的的一种交际策略。 　　关键词：模糊语言； 商务英语信函； 积极作用； 消极作用 　　一、 Introduction 　　This paper aims to study vague language in business English letters， and discuss e time， then on， there are many studies on vague language. Linguists reach a mon sense that vague language plays a significant role in human munication. English linguist Channel （2000：194） claims that ance， because vague language is an inseparable part of language munication. A Chinese linguist ount of researches on vague language from semantic and pragmatic angles soon after， such as Practical Fuzzy Linguistics by Li Qian Jv in 1996， On Fuzzy Semantics by Zhang Qiao in 1998. 　　Although the existing or spreading of vague language everyon used in business aterials are collected mainly form books and articles on business English letters and business munication. The author also has collected some examples from other authors relevant to the current study. In fact， these examples in this paper are in the form of sentences form the letters. There are 20 samples of business English letters being not attached to the study due to the limited length of the paper.A qualitative method is used in this paper to study the deliberate use of vague language by using business English letters as examples. Based on the theoretical prerequisites， the study explores the essential reasons of on sense the beginning to today.
