[Method ] The anthocyanin components in fru it of C innam om um camp hora (L. ) Presl were identified by the m ethods of p ap er chrom atogra phy, liqu id chrom atogram and gas chrom atogram. [R esult ] The resu lts showed that m ajor componentswere p eonidin3A rab ino side, p eon idin3Xy lo side and p eon idin3 glucoside or their ram ification s, The anthocyan in had antibacterial activity. It cou ld restrain the growth of m icrob ial in water and air and p revent food spoilage.
