He becomes a journalist, expounding radical ideas in brilliant satirical tracts published under the pseudonym the gadfly. When Gadfly took part in one uprising,he was arrested. In the prison he suffered a lot from great agony. Ultimately,Gadfly sacrificed himself to the liberation. Actually,it?can?be?said?that?the?Gadfly series?was?authors?blood?clot. The author shaped?the?Gadfly?as?a?unique?hero?character?and?his?life experiences?and?family?background?were presented?to?the?reader?in?its?entirety. Pains?and sufferings?made?Gadfly?a flesh-and-blood?life. He?had?a?complex?personality. His emotion?was?full. All in all,the experience of reading the book is thanks a lot. Gadfly is a real hero image. He suffered a lot and he went through the hell of his life. Nevertheless, in the end he survived and desperate struggle for his ideal. What gives me the most profound impressive is his nerves of steel. He fights for justice, the courage to take the bull by the horns, makes me admire. As far as I am concerned,the spirit of against failure, and the courage to realize ones value pursuit of life are what we needed?today. Be a man like that gadfly. Gadfly said,even sacrifice his own work,he also feels well worthwhile. Life may give us a lot of difficulties, but as long as we have firm faith, and struggle for the ideal, even if we can not up the mountain top, we pursue in the process of fascinating things, I believe that it is well worthwhile.
