But it also faces to many questions. By analyzing many factors, it was believed that the andrology is prospective on the basis of the academic breakthrough of other disciplines, and TCM has its unique experiences and satisfactory therapeutic effects. There are many challenges in modern andrology. Firstly, the simultaneous treatment of the couple has not been popularized. Secondly, due to the outdated infrastructure, “one physician and one patient”principle has not been completely accomplished. Thirdly, the limit understanding of the patients to the diseases results in the higher anticipation and lower compliance. Fourthly, the psychological therapy is neglected during the diagnosis and treatment. Fifthly, there are many privacies in mens disorders, leading to the poor relationship between physicians and patients. There is a long way in the development of andrology and many challenges will be encountered.
